Every good story begins with a shared quest.

Adam has adventured with the same World of Warcraft guild for the past twenty years — the kind of decades-long friendship that becomes family. It was through one of his longtime guildmates that our story begins: Daisy met that same friend over a Dungeons & Dragons campaign back in graduate school, and he was the one who introduced us.

What started as an introduction between friends quickly grew into an online friendship of our own. We adventured together in Azeroth, traded well-loved books by our favorite authors, and watched the Wheel of Time series from opposite ends of a video call. Somewhere along the way, "just friends" became something more, and a long-distance relationship began.

Two years ago, Adam packed up his life in Arizona and moved to California to be with Daisy — though we still make the trip back often to see his family. Together, we took the leap of buying our first home, a place that finally felt like ours.

Last November, at Postino — our favorite date-night spot back in Arizona — Adam got down on one knee and asked Daisy to marry him.

We are a couple of nerds at heart, who fell for each other over games, fantasy worlds, and the stories we love most. We hope a little of that magic finds its way into our wedding, and that you will be there to celebrate this next chapter with us.
